Ways to Transform Your Life

  • Cultivate awareness: pay attention to what is happening in the present moment; notice your breath, your bodily sensations and feelings; observe the world around round; give special attention to a being (tree, flower, person) that attracts you and allow its essence to reveal itself to you; develop a daily meditation practice.

  • Honor your intuition and creativity.

  • Express what is in your heart: share your deep feelings with your mate or close friend; keep a journal; pray daily; if you don't believe in prayer, simply send good wishes to family, friends, community, all peoples, all beings.

  • Join a caring community: participate in community celebration, social service, prayer, dance, song, artmaking.

  • Serve others.

  • Take care of yourself.

  • Be loving, generous, and kind as often as you can.

  • Be grateful for your life: try to appreciate everyone and everything you encounter; focus on the goodness at the core of every being.
